The database offers extensive resources, tools, and real-world examples to support policymakers, practitioners, and researchers in designing and implementing effective adaptation strategies.

 

Adaptation Knowledge Portal (AKP)

The Adaptation Knowledge Portal (AKP) is the online platform of the Nairobi Work Programme (NWP), the UNFCCC’s knowledge-to-action hub for climate adaptation and resilience. The AKP provides free and open access to credible, policy-relevant, and practice-oriented adaptation knowledge, expertise, and engagement opportunities, drawing on the NWP’s global network. It builds on contributions from policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and other knowledge holders to support learning, exchange, and the uptake of adaptation solutions across regions and thematic areas.
